ZenFone 2 Oversized? ASUS launch a 5-inch model
ASUS launch Zenfone 2 with 5-inch screen – ASUS earlier this month at CES 2015 announced the latest two generations ZenFone: ZenFone 2, and ZenFone Zoom. The two android smartphone has a 5.5-inch screen, in this case you think a 5.5-inch screen is too large, Asus will release Zenfone 2 with 5-inch screen, though the same can not be said about ZenFone Zoom.
According to Taiwanese website http://www.sogi.com.tw, the 5-inch ZenFone 2 could be released shortly after the 5.5-inch one, which is expected to hit shelves around the world starting March. While the 5.5-inch ZenFone 2 will have variants with up to 4 GB of RAM, it’s not clear if that’s also the case when it comes to the 5-inch device. Anyway, we’re expecting the smaller ZenFone 2 to be visually similar to the 5.5-inch smartphone, while sharing some of its features, including: Android 5.0 Lollipop with Zen UI, LTE connectivity, 13 MP rear camera, 5 MP front-facing camera, and a quad-core 64-bit Intel Atom Z3580 processor.
ASUS ZenFone 2 with 5.5-inch screen will be sold for prices starting at about $200, which means we should expect the 5-inch model to be even cheaper. In last year, ASUS released ZenFones 4 (4-inch), ZenFones 5 (5-inch), and ZenFones 6 (6-inch), all of which were well received. so we’re not surprised to see the company wanting to keep its strategy unchanged in this regard.
