Asus Official Released ZenFone Pegasus 4A in China
China is just getting a slightly modified Zenfone 4 Max version, going by the name Zenfone Pegasus 4A (ZB500TL). This is very similar to the Zenfone 4 Max which has already been released/announced in Russia. The build looks almost identical, but there are some substantial differences. They may look the same, but the Zenfone Pegasus 4A is a far more budget orientated phone than the main Zenfone 4 Max model.
The Asus device bears a dual camera setup on its rear. As seen from the render, the main camera sensors in the rear are placed in a horizontal housing and are completed by a LED flash light. The smartphone seems to have a polycarbonate body and has a physical Home Button at the front of it. The device also features a 3.5mm audio jack and a USB Type-C port. Truth to be told, this Zenfone phone fails to make us impress in terms of design.
About the specifications, the device is said to come with a 5-inch 720-pixel display with thicker bezels at the top and bottom. When we look at under the hood, The device powered by a Quad-core MediaTek MT6737V chipset and 3GB of RAM and also 32GB of internal storage. It is apparent that the storage capacity can be further increased. This new Asus device has a large 4100mah battery.
The rear dual camera setup possibly consists of 13MP and 8MP sensors. Furthermore, there is also a 5MP camera on the front. On the software front, the Asus device is presumed to come with Android 7.0 Nougat OS.
And about the pricing, the alleged ZenFone Pegasus 4A will be sold for 1800 CNY or around $263. Regarding the specs and features, the price is expensive than it should have been. Perhaps, the appearance of dual cameras at the rear, has forced the Asus to put a high price tag on the device.
Needless to say, the authenticity of this report is yet to be determined.
